AVG "on-demand" scanner for Windows 95/98/NT/2000

The program AVG will use for daily testing purposes is called an "on-demand" scanner. This program is developed to run under Windows 95/98/2000 and Windows NT.

The user usually runs this program to check their whole computer or some of its parts (like files stored on their hard drive) for virus presence. The program contains several built-in functions to keep the program control as easy as possible:

Complete Test - this is a pre-defined test which will check all important files and system areas on all hard drives of your computer. You need not be an expert to check your computer perfectly.

Removable Media Test - using this test you can easily check all removable medias coming from the dangerous "outer" world, like floppies, CD-ROMS, Zip disks, etc.

Custom Test - it allows you to select just one object - drive, directory to check only what is necessary.
