We currently offer an e-mail
support system. We are working on online
tutorials and other support materials. We
expect to have these up by the end of 2002.

do you bill your subscribers? |
We bill all plans only on an annual basis.
This way, we can keep our overhead down
and pass on the savings to you.

modes of payment can I use? |
We accept payments by cash, checks or
money order. Checks and money orders and
must wait until they clear before the account
can be set up. Checks and money order should

How
can I make changes to my site? How often
can I make changes? |
You would usually use an FTP program,
Front Page or other web creation software
to upload your content. You can update your
site’s content anytime 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week!

Is
there a restriction on what content I can
put on my site? |
While we strongly believe in free speech,
we do have restrictions regarding the posting
of some content that includes adult-oriented
material and content that advocates hate
towards a particular race, religion, or
creed. Be sure to read thoroughly our Terms

information on restricted content.

I’ve
seen other hosts that offer unlimited disk
space and bandwidth, do you offer the same? |
No, we do not offer "unlimited"
plans because we do not believe in misleading
customers with false promises of unlimited
storage and/or bandwidth. Check out the
fine print on the contracts of these so-called
"unlimited" plans and find out
how much limitation they impose on them.
The bottom line is this: Disk space and
bandwidth cost money. While we may have
huge capacity and bandwidth, no one has
unlimited. Otherwise, we would be hosting
Yahoo! for $6 monthly!

Can
I run custom CGI scripts and Perl? |
Yes. Each domain gets its own "CGI-Bin"
folder from which you may run Perl or CGI
scripts of your choice.

Can
I run Java applets and JavaScript on my
site? |
Yes. Java applets are no problem. Actually,
the applets can be in any folder on your
domain. Java servlet support is now enabled
for all plans!
JavaScripts are embedded on your HTML pages,
so running them would also present no problem
to the server.

Because
of your low prices, do I have to put up
with advertisements or "popup windows"
on my site? |
No way! Frankly, we hate pop-up windows
and so will your visitors. We do not force
you to to put anything at all on your site.
No ads, no nothing!
Of course, if you would like to put a "hosted
by" icon to help us out, we can certainly
supply an attractive logo!

What
happens if I go over my storage or bandwidth
limits? |
Should you go your storage or transfer
limits, you will receive a notification
from the system.
If you need more disk space, you may trade
up to a higher-allotment hosting plan right
from your site's Control Center, with the
results immediate! If you exceed your monthly
bandwidth limit for your plan, we bill you
at the rate of $10 per GB or fraction thereof.
Many times it is more economical to upgrade
rather than pay bandwidth overages each
month - if in doubt, ask us & we'll
let you know! We also offer custom solutions
for clients with more robust needs. Just
ask!

Is
the $6 plan a subdomain account? Do you
offer subdomain hosting? |
No. The $6 plan and all other plans on
the BSE Web Hosting Service are full virtual
domains with yourname.com and a dedicated
IP address to go with it.

Can
I add services later? Can I upgrade my account
if my site gets larger? |
Sure you can! You can upgrade your plan
level, add extra bandwidth, mailing lists
, change your account information and more
- just write us for your requirements and
we'll immediately respond with a quote.
